Over the years, Exitech has been involved in numerous Simulator I/O replacement projects. These I/O replacements were for several Nuclear Power Utilities using a variety of I/O vendor’s hardware. Exitech’s experience in this area include, a staged replacement approach as well as the replacement of the entire simulator I/O equipment using equipment manufactured by the following vendors, VMIC, RTP/CPI, AdvanTech, National Instruments, TMI, Westinghouse, GSE/Singer Link and L3/CAE Simulation. Many of these projects included replacing the Synchroscope Driver Boards, Digital Rod Position Indicator (DRPI) and Reactor Core Instrumentation System (RCIS). Stimulation of a variety of Plant Process Computer Systems are also often included as part of the I/O replacement projects.
